When it was released, the Nerf Pulsator was the fastest-firing Nerf weapon ever made. That’s nice and all, but being able to fire quickly is only of limited value once you consider that the Pulsator can barely shoot farther than 20 feet.

Still, the Nerf Pulsator is great for close range combat.

Nerf NitroQuad

The Nerf NitroQuad is an interesting gun given its unique design, but its capabilities are rather limited.

The NitroQuad features four barrels, each of which is lined up with the knuckles on your hand. With the dial, you can select how you would like the NitroQuad to shoot (one or two darts at a time).

All of this sounds well and good, but the Nerf NitroQuad has a very limited range, cannot be used by lefties, and is almost impossible to use if your hands are of above average size.

Nerf Ripcord

The Nerf Ripcord is one of the most fun weapons to play with that Nerf has ever made.

Rather than rely on batteries or a pump system, you load your micro darts into the gun and then pull the ripcord, which fires the darts one by one.

The cord itself is a bit of a pain, as it can get tangled around your shoes and trip you. And let’s the honest, the range and accuracy aren’t very good either. But either way, the Nerf Ripcord is still a fun toy.
